Director of Sales and Event Specialist – Jessi Baldwin

JessiJessi Baldwin began her career at A Spice of Life Event Center and Catering Services in 1998, after transferring from the University of Connecticut to the University of Colorado. She just had to get closer to the mountains in order to play in them as much as possible with her two four-footed furry friends! Jessi has helped lay the foundation for A Spice of Life’s success by contributing innovative ideas to clients and offering an enthusiastic and accommodating manner second to none. Jessi’s pleasant demeanor and professionalism are recognized and praised by all of her clients. She is a member of 5280 Wedding Connection, Colorado Wedding Specialists and Catersource Continuing Education Program. Jessi’s attention to detail, style and creativity make her an extraordinary asset to our team. One of Jessi’s newest ventures is helping create the Colorado Wedding Gurus, a team of talented and creative wedding specialists.

Event Specialist – Aimee Travis

AimeeAimee began her career at A Spice of Life in 2006. After attending Ohio State University, she packed up her things to head west in search of something bigger and better. Starting as a server, she quickly began to climb through the ranks and is now in our main office as an Event Specialist. Her up-beat attitude, relationships with clients and co-workers, and dedication to the company have been truly beneficial to A Spice of Life. She enjoys telling jokes, considers herself a connoisseur of movies, and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her adorable daughter, Jaylin.

Assistant Sales Manager – Rachel Solum

Rachel Rachel started working at A Spice of Life in 2008, after returning to Boulder from an extended trip to Guatemala and Peru. Rachel brings with her over 15 years of experience in catering, hospitality and office coordination. Her passion for travel and culture (and great food!) have lead her to travel extensively, contributing to her ability to easily connect to a diverse clientele and help people feel at ease when planning their events.
Rachel loves to be involved in the community and volunteers at several non-profit organizations in Boulder.

Banquets Manager – Bryan Zaynor

BryanBryan joined A Spice of Life as a server in May of 2006. Four years later he has climbed the Spice ladder to his new role as Banquet and Bar Manager. Having worked in nearly every department, Bryan really knows the ins and outs of the operation.

Bryan consistently receives rave reviews from happy Spice clients for his can-do attitude and knowledge of AV, sound and event management.

Bryan is pretty much obsessed with anything sports related, plays softball weekly, loves to be challenged to learn new things and enjoys spending time with his daughter Jaylin.
