barktothefuture logo BlogOn Saturday, April 28th, A Spice of Life donated our delicious cuisine to another great cause: The Humane Society of Boulder’s 20th annual “Puttin’ on the Leash” Gala. This event, which took place at the Coors Event Center, featured live and silent auctions, heart-warming presentations and was a great opportunity to celebrate with other Boulder animal lovers. Some notable auction items included an African Safari in Kenya, a week-long vacation in Kauai, Hawaii, the chance to be “Zookeeper for a Day” at the Denver Zoo, and coveted “The Book of Mormon” tickets. 1,200 people attended the event and raised more than $305,000, which is about six percent of the Humane Society’s $5 million annual operating budget. With so many animal lovers at A Spice of Life, we’re proud to be able to contribute to such a fabulous event and worthy organization.

GirlsNightOut Header Blog

Earlier this month, A Spice of Life was a proud host of another fabulous event in Denver. Together with Market Advisory Partners and Keri Blair Image Experts, A Spice of Life hosted a Girl’s Night Out at 910 Arts on Sante Fe. Kelli, events & bar extraordinaire for 910 Arts, mixed up chocolate martinis for over 100 of the community’s most influential women as they networked and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Spice. The festivities also included a raffle for great prizes, like gift certificates for A Spice of Life and Market Advisory Partners, as well as a fashion show. The event was as philanthropic as it was fun- donations were made to Free the Girls, a non-profit organization that provides job opportunities to women rescued from sex trafficking.
