Boulder Farmers Market Chef Demo with Spice’s Own Pastry Patty

Patty is a Texas native raised in Oklahoma. She learned to bake from her mom and grandma, who gave her many of the recipes she uses today at A Spice of Life. Patty started out as an accountant for 12 years, then decided to trade in her suit for a chef coat and follow her passion. She attended the Art Institute of Dallas where she earned her AAS – Culinary Arts. Patty has created pastry delicacies at Whole Foods, Central Market, Hilton of Southlake, Ritz Carlton Dallas, and also owned and operated Patty Cakes Bakery and Catering for 4 years.

Patty will be the featured chef for the Boulder Farmers Market chef demo on Wednesday, October 4th. Stop by between 5pm and 6pm to watch and sample the seasonally inspired dish Patty creates featuring the freshest market ingredients. She will be explaining the process behind her passion and answering any questions shoppers have for her relating to fresh cooking. There will also be the chance to win fun prizes and score a sweet deal! (No pun intended). October 4th is the last Wednesday market of the season, and certainly not one to miss! We hope to see your beautiful face downtown at the Boulder Farmers Market in a couple weeks! It is open from 4pm to 8pm and is located on 13th street between Canyon and Arapahoe.
