Our Favorite Quarantine Sanity Savers

We’ve all seen the memes circulating around the activities people are getting up to on “Quarantine Day 29384”. As for our team, we have a small crew in our kitchen & admin offices keeping things running and helping you Bring Spice Home, but many of us are self-quarantining and working from home, which comes with its own unique challenges.

We’ve been on the phone with many of our clients who are looking for ways to get ahead of the game with their future event planning, and we’ve got some new posts in the works about that, so stay tuned! But first, we thought we’d share the sanity-saving things we’re loving right now.

For The Workout Enthusiast:

Pure Barre Boulder is offering 1 week of free unlimited livestreaming classes for all of us who’ve decided that now’s the perfect time to work on that six-pack.

Crossfit Sanitas is hosting Zoom classes open to the public (and be sure to check out their catalog of “travel workouts” for more versatile at-home fitness options!)

Alchemy of Movement is holding online classes via Band, available for a suggested donation, because who doesn’t need more dancing in their life right now?

For The Lifetime Student:

Harvard University has 67 free offerings for online courses on a wide array of subjects.

Short on time? Coursera’s got you covered with a catalog of free online courses you can finish in a day!

General Assembly’s free coding class offers a fun entry into the world of web development. Hellooooo new résumé skills.

For The Up-And-Coming Baking Whiz:

Our friends at the Long I Pie Shop are hosting a weekly Virtual Baking Club; head over to their Instagram for the full scoop on upcoming sessions.

Ever wanted to try your hand at making sourdough? Let the team at Rebel Bread guide you through online bread-making classes and take your baking projects to the next level.

Slow Food USA is hosting “Slow Food Live”, an collection of online live cooking & gardening demonstrations. They update their schedule often, so keep their site bookmarked!

Cheers to you and whatever you’re doing to stay as sane and safe as possible. We can’t wait to party with you in person, but until then, we’ve got your back from afar.
