Night at the Opera

BAH PictureThe Phantom of the Opera came to life at the Boulder Chamber of Commerce Boulder Business After Hours Event held at the A Spice of Life Event Center on October 20th. Event specialist Aimee Travis dreamt up this night inspired by the tragic tale that is now Broadway’s longest running show in history.

The evening began with a performance by the professional opera singer and founder of the Colorado Musicians Consortium, Marta Burton. Following this beautiful performance, guests were presented with an array of French fare and were able to create personally designed “Phantom” masks to remember the evening by.

The event featured our new French cuisine menu, which includes items such Hazelnut and Goat Cheese Truffles, Demi Tasse Vichyssoise, Whipped Crème Fraiche served with Yukon Gold Potato Crisps, Charcuterie and Pate Displays, Petit Quiche Lorraine, and Petite Mascarpone cheesecakes. We even had a crepe station where guests were treated to Blackberry Duck Confit Crepes and Mixed Berry Crepes.  In addition to featuring our new menu, we revealed the recent renovations we made to our Event Center.

Overall, guests enjoyed an evening of food, music and fun. Cat Hines, a staff member that evening said, “ you could tell by all the laughter and smiles everyone was having a great time” Thank you Boulder Chamber for hosting your event with us!  Also thank you to Asher Brewery, T’da Design, Illuminations Design Studios, Lighting and Design by Scott, The Colorado Musicians Consortium for helping us make this event such a success.
