A lodging property less than a mile from downtown Estes Park with two event venues: The Boulders, a two-level modern hall among rock formations with in-house catering for up to 200, and The Homestead, a 1929 log building with a covered ceremony pavilion and cocktail lawn for up to 100 that takes approved outside caterers. Condos, hotel suites and a historic cabin house wedding and corporate retreat guests on site.
A Spice of Life has catered 4 events at Black Canyon Inn since October 2024, weddings first, with events alongside. The busiest stretch for us here has been fall. Hannah is our Event Specialist for Black Canyon Inn, with Charlie as backup, and knows the load-in, the kitchen, and the timing the room needs. The venue publishes capacity of 200 seated; we size service style to that, and a buffet or stations needs more floor than a plated dinner for the same count. Indoor and outdoor space both come into play, so the timeline carries a weather call and we stage food where it stays hot either way. Load-in: Wedding packages: 6.5 hours of event time, decorating access from 10am, getting-ready suite from 9am. Group events 8am to 10pm. Alcohol: In-house bar and bartending staff included at both venues; champagne or sparkling cider toast provided. Lodging is on site, which matters for a wedding weekend: rehearsal dinner and morning-after brunch can happen in the same place.

A riverfront lodge just outside the Rocky Mountain National Park gate with a 3,000-square-foot event hall, a large deck over the Big Thompson River and an 1,800-square-foot riverside ceremony site. The Landing holds one wedding at a time with the lodge's suites, cabins and villas reserved for the group, and also hosts rehearsal dinners, farewell breakfasts and corporate events.

It hosts rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, welcome parties, brunches, reunions and memorials, with the bar service in-house and food brought in.
