The Rayback is a food-truck beer garden and taphouse on Valmont Road in north Boulder with a mix of bookable spaces: the indoor Marion event room and Gallery, a large outdoor tent and its north half, and full buyouts of the whole property. It hosts corporate gatherings, birthdays, weddings and community events, with rotating food trucks and an in-house bar.
A Spice of Life has catered 3 events at The Rayback since August 2024, private celebrations first, with nonprofit and university events alongside. The busiest stretch for us here has been spring. There is no kitchen, which changes nothing for the menu: we bring a field kitchen sized to the guest count and need only power, water, and a level place to set it. The venue publishes capacity of 100 seated or 650 standing; we size service style to that, and a buffet or stations needs more floor than a plated dinner for the same count. Indoor and outdoor space both come into play, so the timeline carries a weather call and we stage food where it stays hot either way. Load-in: Hourly rental model. Hours Mon 8am-8pm, Tue-Fri 8am-10pm, Sat 10am-10pm, Sun 10am-8pm. Alcohol: Full-service bar run by in-house bartending staff; no beverage minimums; hosted, cash or hybrid bar.

The Koenig Alumni Center is the historic former university president's residence at University and Broadway on the CU Boulder campus, renting its first floor plus a 2,200 sq ft fenced backyard with a gazebo, wraparound porch and Flatirons views. Two all-season tents extend the garden for dinners and dancing, and the house hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, retreats, memorials, alumni gatherings and business meetings.

The Boulder JCC's Levin Hall is a 4,000 sq ft event room with a built-in stage, window walls facing the Flatirons and a partially covered patio with a fireplace, backed by a licensed commercial kitchen that can be run kosher on request. Smaller meeting rooms are also available, and the venue hosts weddings, b'nai mitzvah, galas, conferences and community events.

Rembrandt Yard is a two-floor, 6,500 sq ft working art gallery a block off Pearl Street with floor-to-ceiling windows toward the Flatirons, a central fountain, an outdoor cocktail courtyard and balconies. It hosts weddings, corporate events, nonprofit galas, social celebrations and celebrations of life, with in-house furniture, basic AV and day-of coordination.
